A: Yes. During the license period, you may show the movie as many times as you wish!
Q: Can we charge admission for the screening?
A: Yes. Many churches do charge admission to pay for the license fee as well as for the purpose of using a Proverbs Cinema as a ministry FUNDRAISER.
Q: How can I be sure that the films are appropriate for screening at my church?
A: Upon request, we will provide your pastor or leadership team a password to preview the film in the SCREENING ROOM section on our website prior to scheduling the film.
Q: Why do I need to use Proverbs Cinema to license my screening?
A: A DVD bought or rented from a store is licensed for home-use only. It is illegal to publicly exhibit such a film. With Proverbs Cinema, we license you to screen the film in a public environment.
Q. What if we didn't purchase a license and publicly showed the movie?
A: Under the Federal Copyright Act, any organization’s public exhibition of a Proverbs Cinema film without prior license and consent is in violation of the law and is subject to financial penalties in excess of $100,000. Whether intentional or inadvertent, publicly showing a Proverbs Cinema film without the proper license is in violation of the Copyright Act.
